Jumping can also be used to defeat the snakes, spiders, or monkeys that get in Simba’s way.
Simba moves by running, jumping and climbing. Key events, such as the stampede from the first film, make up their own levels. The game tracks along with the plot of both films and follows Simba as he grows up.
The game consists of ten side-scrolling levels: The first six are set in The Lion King and the rest in Simba’s Pride, with some levels ending in boss fights. Simba’s Mighty Adventure is based on Disney’s The Lion King as well as it’s direct-to-video sequel Simba’s Pride.
